The office visit with physicians has evolved over the years. The growing demands placed on the health care system have reduced the time doctors spend with their patients. Office visits can be rushed and the goal of educating and empowering our patients can be easily lost.
The Mehra Clinic is a Northern Virginia-based Pediatric Endocrinology practice that was established to give patients the ability to have a personalized approach to their care. In-person care is available to see patients for the problems that must be seen in person, but not every problem requires spending time traveling to a doctor’s office. For this reason we have embraced telemedicine as a safe and efficient care option.
The visit does not end with the conclusion of the appointment as there are options to get in touch with your doctor by text and email. With specialized membership, you do not need an appointment to ask follow-up medical questions but instead can readily text or email your questions. We will also communicate directly with your pediatrician to close the gaps in care.
