Why is Sleep Important for Kids? - A Conversation with Dr. Funke Brown

In this episode, I sat down with Dr. Funke Afolabi-Brown to talk about why sleep is so important for kids. Dr. Brown is a double board certified pediatric pulmonary medicine and pediatric sleep disorder doctor, who specializes in helping her patients breathe better and sleep better.

In our conversation, we took time to address the sleep needs of kids at different ages, the reasons why they need this sleep, some of the barriers kids face when it comes to getting the sleep they need, and how parents can facilitate and encourage good sleep habits.

One of the best things we can do to help our kids as they develop is to get them the sleep they need, so be sure to listen to this episode to the end.

If you would like to get in touch with Dr. Brown to learn more and find more restful sleep, you can reach her via her website (Restful Sleep MD)Instagram, or Facebook.
